Chicago Dog Trainer offers dog training programs for families throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs — in person at Little Dog Farm and remotely via Zoom for clients who prefer to work from home or live outside the immediate area. Every program is built around the training philosophy developed by Marc Goldberg that produces reliable, lasting results without force, fear, or intimidation. Marc Goldberg is a published author of several dog training books, and has personally trained hundreds of dog trainers nationally.
The most common dog training challenges that bring Chicago families to Marc — pulling on the leash, jumping on guests, failing to come when called, barking, destructive behavior, separation anxiety, and aggression — all respond to the right training approach. The programs below address those challenges at different levels of intensity, from a single focused session with you and your dog to a multi-week boarding school where Marc and his team lay the foundation before handing the tools back to the owner.

Chicago Dog Trainer serves families throughout the Chicago metropolitan area, including the city itself and suburbs across Cook, DuPage, Kane, and Lake Counties. In-person training takes place at Little Dog Farm, located near I-90 in suburban Chicago and accessible from throughout the region. For clients who prefer to work remotely, or who live outside the Chicago area entirely, most programs are available via Zoom.
Marc Goldberg is a past president of the International Association of Canine Professionals, an inductee of the IACP Members Hall of Fame, and the co-author of three books with the Monks of New Skete — including Let Dogs Be Dogs and The Art of Training Your Dog.
